Robin Wilkes hit an amazing hole-in-one during his second round of the Men’s 72 Hole Scratch on day two of the Bournemouth Open Golf Tournament.
Wilkes’ sensational strike on the ninth hole at Queens Park was the highlight of the day as the chasing pack aimed to close down the six-shot lead built up by runaway leader Matt Doughty in the first round.
The tournament, now in its 63rd year, got underway yesterday (Monday 2nd June) and is set to continue for the entire week finishing with the Men’s Greensomes Stableford on Saturday.
Competitors are due to continue playing until 4:30 this evening.
