An increasing number of young adults are beginning to ditch society’s conventional labels around gender and sexuality. Jessica Howie is one of those, speaking about her refusal to be labelled, Jessica said:
Everyone wants to pigeonhole you. So it’s actually quite difficult to take a step back and say, no this is who I am
In our survey, 0% of people said ‘Yes’ when asked: ‘Is it important for people to label their sexuality?’. With 89% answering ‘No’. More and more people are beginning to embrace their sexuality as a fluid notion and something that can change and shift over time.
