Reasoning with Death is a seven minute radio documentary exploring the assisted dying debate in the UK.
2015 was a momentous year for the assisted dying debate, as the House of Commons voted on and rejected the first assisted dying bill in almost 20 years.
The Marris bill, which was rejected in September, stipulated that only those given six months to live would be eligible for an assisted death. Because of this, supporters of assisted dying felt the bill would was not broad enough to make an impact while those opposed felt it left the bill vulnerable to extension in a way that would harm the disable or dying.
