Community and voluntary services in Dorset are set to have their funding cut by 80k a year for the next three years under new local government funding cuts.
In a consultation held by West Dorset District Council the following savings were agreed: £87,253 in 2016/17, £88,931 in 2017/18 and £91,694 in 2018/19.
Director of the Lyme Regis Museum David Tucker said they were prepared for cuts.
The proposal has been amended to prevent cuts to Citizens Advice Bureaus in Dorchester, Sherborne and Bridport.
The Executive Committee has now approved these changes and are waiting for approval from the Full Council before they can be enacted.
