So far AFC Bournemouth have proved they can compete in the English Premier League and now plans are being made for there progression.
It was clear in the summer that the club would need to make forms of progression to continue playing the top tier of English football.
The summer signing’s of young high caliper players such as Jack Wilshere, Jordon Ibe and Lewis Cook clearly showed the clubs desire to increase their quality of football.
Its not only on the pitch the club are looking to develop as there are plans to build a new stadium by 2020. This is backed by the Executive Director of Bournemouth borough council Bill Cotton who said they’d do: “all it can to help the club in their search for potential sites”.
The season has started well for the club compared to this time last season. As of gameweek 15 the club are up 5 places with 5 more points and 2 more wins.
The steps the club have made are showing steady progression. Its clear the fans see this as well. All of the fans I spoke to were positive about the current state of the club. One fan told me: “I’ve been a fan since I was a boy but since we’ve been in the premier league the clubs been in its best ever state.”
If the club can continue to satisfy its fans with better season performances and upgrade their facilities then they will have a lot to help them thrive going forward.
