People aged between 33 and 70-years-old took part in Britain’s first ever naked workout class
A Southampton personal trainer has come up with a cheeky new way to get people’s hearts racing as she’s launched the UK’s first ever naked workout class.
Founder, Helen Smith, 35, led the hour-long class as ten brave participants bared all to take part.
For a price of £8, the workout consisted of circuit-style workouts with jumping jacks, sit ups, push ups and partner work.
She told The Sun classes consist of “gentle boot-camp style exercises with partner games and teamwork” suitable for all levels of fitness.
Helen, member of naturist organisation British Naturism feels the main benefit of removing clothes when exercising is that participants can really follow along with the moves.
The inspiration to become a naturist came from visiting a nudest beach in the South of France two years ago.
Fitness instructor Helen then decided to set up the class after someone on a forum asked her if it was a service she offered.
The classes take place in the Nursling Village Hall, Southampton, at 5pm on the third Saturday of every month.
Other sessions are expected to start up in London and across the South-East with details to be announced on the Nude-ercise Facebook page.
