A local flapjack manufacturer have been putting the sweet treats to good use as they aim to raise money to help support a national wildlife charity.
The Purple Saltire Association have been given selections of vegan treats by the Dorset Flapjack Company to help raise money for unwanted pets, wildlife protection and to help preserve animal rights across the country.
The manufacturer are aiming to provide a steady flow of products that can be sold by the charity as they aim to raise the money.
Bruce Williams, owner of the Dorset Flapjack Company, spoke of his pride at the companies efforts:
“The lady who runs the charity is a customer of ours and she contacted me with regards to us supporting her charity.
“I know it supports a wide range of animals and goes towards all sorts of things.
“We provide only vegan flapjacks as the special offer so that there are no animal products in the flapjacks.”
