A Bournemouth man is launching a campaign next month to help the town’s homeless and hungry by taking donations of food – instead of money.
Klynton Dyer, from Bournemouth, is a passionate Personal Trainer who will be hosting a weekly class for anyone who wishes to take part in a free workout, in aid of the homeless and the hungry in the Bournemouth and Poole area.
The food collected will be donated to local food banks to help those less fortunate and make sure struggling individuals and families get a meal.
“Fitness has always been a passion of mine as I’m a personal trainer, but I’ve always had a dream of doing my bit for reducing the amount of people who go hungry here and abroad.
He is currently looking for anyone who would like to take part, and help him on his grass-roots mission to help the hungry.
“I’m hoping to begin regular sessions in February once I settle on a location for it to take place.
“All in all I can combine my goals of helping people get healthier and inspire the thought of giving at the same time.”
