Pubs are coming up with new and fresh ideas to try and halt their decline and appeal to punters in a very modern world.
Based in both London and Dorset Kris Grumbrell has been opening more and more of his mirco brewery pubs at a time when drinking establishments are still closing nationally. He has even taken over a property that was previously a Wetherspoons which is a significant purchase given the dominance of the chain nationwide.
With craft beer sales rising 18% in the UK in 2016 the Brewhouse and Kitchen owner discusses what he calls ‘The Great British Bake Off effect’ and reveals exactly how this is helping him to encourage more and more people through the door of his craft beer focused pubs.
