Bournemouth University’s student union organised a three day celebration full of activities and workshops for students and staff at the university.
The celebrations took place on the same day that Theresa May handed in the letter that initiated the UK leaving the European Union.
The event celebrated different countries across the globe with live music and dance performances and free food taster stalls throughout the student centre. There were also several workshops including a class on how to do the Irish jig.
Buzz News spoke to one of the organisers and the Vice President of Welfare at the student union, Charlie Souter Phillips, about what does this festival mean to Bournemouth students.
