The MET office claim that Bournemouth Beach was the hottest place in the country last Tuesday afternoon, 20th June.
Temperatures reached as high as 30.5C at 2pm, as the heat continues to rise in this record-breaking June weather.
An amber heatwave warning, the second highest, was issued by the MET Office, which signals that there is a 90% chance that the UK could experience a heatwave.
The temperatures are expected to continue to rise, as the temperature is expected to soar to at least 33C across the UK.
