Bournemouth’s new winger, Harry Davis, has been in fine form since joining the club. Davis was outstanding in his opening game for the second team and very quickly made his the first team debut.
The Marketing Graduate was a free agent having just finished his time at Bournemouth University but has now found his feet at Chapel Gate.
Davis started his first game for the second team against Dings Crusaders and believes he played well. He played flanker, a new position for him, and was awarded man of the match.
Boss, Will Croker, praised the strength in depth at Bournemouth after progressing to the semi final.
Davis was confident he’d done enough to keep his place for Bournemouth’s league clash with Exmouth the following week.
And after keeping his spot on the wing Davis feels he had another solid game.
Harry is confident that he will maintain his starting position for Bournemouth’s game this Saturday as they host joint bottom of the table Lydney. The Lions are currently fourth in the table and will be looking to claim a big win.
Davis is keen to keep impressing at Bournemouth and help their push for promotion but he also has some personal goals.
The Brixham born player showed his potential in his younger years having represented England South West u16 and Ivybridge in the South West Premier league by the age of 17. Davis went on to fulfil his potential at University after being selected to represent South England Student Sevens.
At Bournemouth, Harry could now face his old club in just two weeks and has spoke about his feelings of returning to Ivybridge.
Bournemouth take on Lydney at Chapel Gate this Saturday, October 28. Kick off is 3:00pm.
