Theresa May has today announced the plans to freeze the tuition fee payback threshold for university students up to 25.000 pounds, before they will start paying it back.
The prime minister in her speech today said that there are proposals to change the formula through which students pay interest rates that is currently 6% a double the rate of inflation.
The Prime Minister has been accused of employing such tactics in a desperate attempt to win over young voters, however Bournemouth University students do not seem to be convinced.
We asked students whether the tuition fee freeze will influence their voting position and if that is enough for them to give Conservative party their vote.
Patrick Canavan who is a Labour candidate for Christchurch says that the Prime Minister’s proposals aren’t particularly attractive and unlikely to bring the young voters back.
