Bournemouth FC lost 2-1 to Bemerton Heath Harlequins last night, making it three games without a win in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division.
There was one change from the draw against Baffins Milton Rovers with Liam Donachy replacing Lewis Harvey.
The Harlequins scored in the first ten minutes on a cold night at Victoria Park, taking the lead through Robbie Matthews. The Poppies had a lot of work to do in the second half and captain Chris Spears bagged his first of the season to level the scores up at 1-1. However, just a minute later, Bemerton regained the lead from a corner and held on till the end of the game to down Bournemouth to a 2-1 loss.
The Poppies dropped to 13th in the table, after the loss, having played 21 games so far this season. The away side leapfrogged Brockenhurst and Bashley to move one place behind Bournemouth with 3 games in hand.

The side, who play their home games in Winton, travel to bottom of the league Petersfield Town on Saturday in search of a much needed win.
