An exciting and up coming Bournemouth band: Endless Peaks, have stormed onto the Dorset music scene.
The Endless Peaks was established in 2015 by brothers Luis (Bass Guitar) and Lloyd Allen (Vocals/Lead Guitar), who teamed up with Channelle Smith (Drums) and Connor Dean (Keyboard) who were both recruited through the website ‘Join my band’.
The band’s psychedelic indie sound, has been likened to other bands such as The Foals and Tame Impala but, yet they still obtain their uniqueness.
Lloyd Allen the leading vocalist of the group, believes they have found their true sound:
“The band was originally a three piece when we first started recording our songs in 2015. But, after going to a few open mic shows in Bournemouth we realised that we were missing an extra layer to our music, so we decided to bring in Connor on the keys.
“We now feel that we have that right balance and uniqueness to our music. Every song is different in it’s own right.”
ABOVE AND BEYOND
The brother of Lloyd: Luis, a graduate at Southampton Solent University, speaks of the unlimited possibilities for the band:
“We perform most of the time in Bournemouth, Southampton and occasionally in London. It is difficult to keep striving as everyone in the band have day jobs, so juggling that with practice and gigs can be hard.
“However, if we could be making and playing music for a living then that would be a dream come true.
“We would love to do festivals in Europe in the future as Europeans are perhaps more welcoming to new music than the Brits are.”
The ultimate goal for the Endless Peaks according to Luis, is much more rooted to home:
“The ultimate goal has to be performing at Glastonbury or even Reading festival. I remember going to Reading festival at the age of 14.
“Playing on one of those stages would bring back a lot of nostalgia.”
