A few young people shared their experience with alcohol consumption and talked about the drinking scene in Bournemouth.
“I don’t drink very often, maybe twice a week. I usually have a few ciders or if we’re going clubbing I will drink vodka. I don’t consider myself a binge drinker at all. ”
“I live at home so I don’t drink often at all. I drink maybe once a month. Halls are where people actually drink more. When I do drink I usually have Archers and lemonade. I don’t think I’m a binge drinker. ”
“I live in halls so we go clubbing quite often. I drink around three times a week. Sometimes more. When I drink I usually go for vodka and lemonade. I don’t consider myself a binge drinker. ”
“I don’t drink very often but when I do I drink a lot. Usually rum or a few pitchers in Spoons. I consume alcohol once a month or on occasion.”
“I rarely drink these days. Maybe once or twice a month. Usually beer or cider. Maybe a cocktail, something that doesn’t really taste like alcohol. I’m not a binge drinker although I have friends that go to university and drink way more than I do. ”
