Dorset based charity Diverse Abilities have set up a second Neon Run to take place at Poole Park.
The event will take place on April 21st where it is expected that up to 1,000 runners will turn up for the 5k run.
Lauren McCullough, Events Manager at Diverse Abilities, recalls the success from last year’s Neon Run.
“It was great, we had over 350 runners and we raised over £25,000. It exceeded expectations and we’re hoping to double it for this year.”
McCullough went on to add that Diverse hope the Neon Run becomes an annual event and spreads throughout the Dorset area.
“This will be our second one in Poole and we also have one over in Weymouth in September which we are repeating again.
“We are hoping to grow it and we might end up having another one in other locations across Dorset, too.”
