A 35-year-old New Forest antique stall has been told it cannot attend the Hampshire County show for the first time this year.
The stall is run by local resident Linda (who has decided not to reveal her full name) but her friend Kerry Bacon expressed Linda’s sadness.
Everyone is very upset by the way the news was broken but the Committee have made it clear that they won’t change their mind. End of an era. Such is life.”
Kerry also took to Twitter to express her concern:

The letter reads that the New Forest and Hampshire County show carried out a survey with people and the results showed that visitors felt the layout of the show and attractions offered needed to be reviewed as people felt “it was the same year on year.
“We have looked at the plan of the show and have made drastic changes to the layout to try and introduce some new features which we hope will add a new, fresh feel to the show.
I know that this will come as a huge disappointment and I would like to assure you that this decision has not been taken lightly.
“I would like to thank you and those who have assisted you, on behalf of the Society and show, for many years service that you have given us in putting on such a well-run section.”
The County show takes place this year on 24, 25 and 26 July.
