The Football Association, established in 1863, has come under scrutiny for its lack of gender diversity. Until last autumn the organisation had only ever employed one woman to the its board – throughout its entire history.
We follow the story of Carolyn Radford, chief executive of Mansfield Town FC, who feels her gender has prevented her from getting a job with the FA.
The documentary also features Greg Dyke (ex-FA chairman), Suzy Wrack (Guardian journalist), Jo Tongue (football agent) and Marzena Bogdanowicz (FA’s head of marketing and commercial for women’s football).
