Dorset Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious traffic collision which occurred yesterday in Poole.
On Tuesday 16th December at approximately 9:05am, a collision happened on Tollerford Road between a silver Renault Clio, a silver Audi A8 and a green Ford Fiesta.
A 79 year old woman from Poole was driving the Renault, and suffered life threatening injuries. She was taken to Poole General Hospital for treatment.
A man in his 80s was driving the Audi, and he sustained minor injuries and was also taken to Poole General Hospital for treatment.
The Ford driver, a local woman in her 40s, was uninjured.
The road was reopened at 2:15pm after being closed for several hours in order to allow the emergency services to deal with the incident.
Police Sergeant Mark Scammell has issued an appeal for witnesses who “witnessed the collision, or the manner of driving of either vehicle prior to the incident.”
He also has asked for anyone who “may have dashcam footage that would assist with my investigation.”
