Bournemouth RFC winger, Harry Davis, has been in talks with Balmain of Sydney, New South Wales. He has exclusively told BUzz that the move should be finalised at some point next week.
Davis’ move would hit the Lions hard amidst their current push for promotion especially as they are already without Adam Davies due to a hamstring injury.
Bournemouth are currently sat second in the South West Premier League but Davis has told us where his priorities lie.
Davis will be following in the footsteps of some rugby legends pulling on the yellow and black of Balmain. Matt Giteau, Drew Mitchell and Sebastean Chabal have all spent time at the club.
However, Davis is confident he can live up to standards of those before him as he told us about his aims for his time in Australia. But also, the hard-hitting winger has long term goals for his return home.
The move, that is now looking incredibly likely, came around as an old team mate of Davis used to play at Balmain and put him in contact with them.
Davis gave the club the necessary requirements and Balmain offered him a place. If the move is to be confirmed, Davis’ time at Chapel Gate would have been a short one having only signed for Bournemouth at the beginning of this season.
