Today is International Foster Carer Appreciation Day.
Every year on October 12th we say thank you to all foster carers around the world.
These carers do amazing work everyday taking in children of all ages and backgrounds. They go above and beyond to ensure these kids grow up with love and a good home.
Many people, including Dorset County Council, are using twitter to express their gratitude, using the hashtag #fostercarerappreciation.
Every day we are reminded how amazing our #Dorset foster carers are. These images only give a snapshot of the fantastic work they do. We would like to give a massive 🙌 to every one of you for your life changing work. #fostercarerappreciation

If you know any foster carers, let them know what a great job they have done with improving the outcomes for young people in the foster system.
