Funeral prices have risen well above the rate of inflation, so can your loved ones afford the costs when it comes to passing away? Currently 17% of us struggle to afford a funeral and that figure is only set to increase.
Financial burdens are a big enough worry for most people, without the conflict of a relative passing away. End of life costs peaked at £7,114 in 2012 – that’s including everything from the ceremony to the death certificate as well as the non-essential extras like the flowers and the catering.
