Corrie Drew is the Labour candidate for Bournemouth East.
The 36 year-old spoke to Buzz News this afternoon about the potential outcome of tonight’s Brexit vote, “I’m confident that Labour and the majority of the other small parties will vote against it” Ms Drew said.
Theresa May’s exit plan has caused quite the response since it was unveiled towards the end of 2018.
With it looking likely that May’s deal will be rejected, we asked Corrie Drew what her ideal outcome would be from the vote; “We are trying to take things sort of one step at a time. We primarily want to seek a general election so that the approach to that would be to put forward a vote of no confidence in the government.”
We asked Ms Drew herself how she feels people may respond to a shifting uncertainty with the current government; “we are finding that there are people who have always been loyal to one particular party who are now unsure of how they would vote.”.
The vote will commence tonight around 7PM.
