Plans are expanding after Poole Borough Council revealed there would be a crackdown on parents’ ‘idling’ outside schools.
Following Poole’s transportation advisory group meeting on Thursday, the report says that public service and delivery goods vehicles are now being considered to be included in the campaign.
It comes with a bid to reduce emissions and improve air quality where there are vulnerable people such as schools, as well as in areas where ‘exposure to road-traffic-related air pollution is high.’
