For people with disabilities, festivals can be difficult to navigate and enjoy. However, Truck Festival’s accessible campsite and viewing platforms have helped attendees with access needs to enjoy the events to the full. With these facilities, wheelchair users have a place to view the two main stages, while those with autism and social anxiety can enjoy the music without getting caught up in the crowd. Buzz News reporter Kit Danks spoke to mum Debbie Harris, whose son has high functioning autism, and without accessible camping would be unable to attend the festival at all.
