BU students ask the questions at Our Time election debate

Bournemouth University students kick off General Election coverage with a Question Time-style debate called OurTime tonight pitting questions about education, climate change, crime and health to a panel of local politicians.

BU’s Journalism department is collaborating with a dozen other universities to unite young voices from across the country for this election under the theme of ‘reclaiming the debate.’

As well as round-the-clock coverage of Thursday’s election, tonight’s debate will see students and young people from local schools discuss topics that affect them with a panel of politicians and experts.

The event will be live-streamed on BUzz and there will be a Live Blog from 5pm.
