The safest seat in the UK will remain Conservative as Sir Christopher Chope comfortably shrugged off his voting controversies.
Previously holding 69.6% of the vote, tonight he took 33,894 seats with little pressure from the nearest challenger, Labour candidate Andrew Dunne.
