Despite the weather warnings, Chris Alder from Bournemouth and Poole Weather on Twitter says: “This storm won’t really affect us today significantly other than giving another spell of pretty yucky weather through rush hour and the evening. It really shouldn’t cause too much disruption or damage.”

“The main effects of the storm will be in the extreme north west of the UK, however a secondary ‘storm’ could produce another spell of really poor weather tomorrow affecting the south and south east. One to keep an eye on as developments are highly uncertain currently.”
