AFC Bournemouth under 21’s are through to the semi finals of the Hampshire Senior Cup after a 4-0 win against Sholing FC.
After a 3-0 win against Nottingham Forest, the team looked to continue their winning streak at the Mackoy Stadium.
Jordon Ibe was in the starting line up – he has not featured for the first team since September.
Jadion Anthony netted two goals with Alex Dobre and Ibe also adding to the score sheet.
Anthony’s early strike and Dobre’s 25th minute goal had given the Cherries a two goal advantage going in to half time.
Then Cherries were awarded a penalty in the 49th minute. Ibe stepped up and sent the keeper the opposite way making it 3-0.
Another assist from Dobre enabled Anthony to make it goal number four in the last 30 minutes of the game.
