Deviant Desires Audio | How a trauma survivor started treating paedophilia

Candice Christiansen is a survivor of child sexual abuse, who established The Global Prevention Project in the United States.

A program dedicated to treating Minor Attracted Persons and adults with deviant sexual desires.

The program works on individual basis with its patients and implements web-based support groups. It also works on helping the partners of sex offenders and provides rehabilitative treatment to individuals with various special needs.

This program is different to Prevention Project Dunkelfeld, as featured in the Deviant Desires online feature.The Global Prevention project seeks to provide help to people with minor attractions who look to manage their condition.

Here, Candice explains why this work is important to her and how she overcame her own past in order to help others.
