Poole Pirates SGB Championship fixture list released

The fixture list for the 2020 Speedway Great Britain Championships was released earlier this morning.

Poole Pirates will play their first fixture on the 1 April at home to Somerset Rebels, and their first appearance away from home will come three days later on the 4 April against coastal rivals Eastbourne.

The 2020 SGB Championship will operate under a new format which sees clubs split into either Northern or Southern groups.

Each team will ride twice at home and twice away against fellow group members, whilst making only one appearance home and away against opposite group sides.

The Pirates have been put into the Southern group with Birmingham, Eastbourne, Kent, Leicester and Somerset, whilst the Northern group is made up of Berwick, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Redcar and Scunthorpe.

The full fixture list can be seen below with every game being a SGB Championship game unless stated.
