Quidco Bournemouth money giveaway lasts only 2 minutes

January 20, 2020 //  by AbbieBradford//  Leave a Comment

Finances constrain sports club and organisations across Dorset.

A money giveaway event in Bournemouth Town Centre held today lasted just 2 minutes as the hosts quickly ran out of cash.

Quidco, an online cash back site, was positioned in Bournemouth Town centre this afternoon and advertised that they would be giving out envelopes with mystery cash prizes ranging from £5 to £50.

Buzz Reporters Connor Faherty and Josh Taylor where at the event and both received cash envelopes…

Buzz reporter Conor Faherty spoke to Quidco Employee Patrick Gilligan, who was at the event and explained what the event was all about.

Quidco is giving away £10,000 across 10 streets in the UK, choosing to host the event on Blue Monday.

Chris Hutchings, Chief Marketing Officer for Quidco said:“We’ve kickstarted 2020 by reaching a huge milestone, so we want to celebrate our members on one of the most dreaded days of the year by shining a bit of light on the UK doing what we do best – giving away cash!”
