The ZipYard is targeting university students in an attempt to speed up its expansion across Dorset.
The firm has opened a branch in Wimborne Road, Winton, close to Bournemouth University’s Talbot campus.
The clothing alteration company, which originated in Ireland in 2005, was formed after founders identified a gap in the market.
They found few body shapes conformed to standard clothes sizes within high street shops.
Marvin Winthorpe, who owns the branch, said: “The store was set up within Winton as we felt that we could encourage more students to use the services we provide.”
