Autism Wessex have set up a Christmas wish list to help those who are affected by autism.
On their website they say: “We’ve put together an Amazon Wish List, full of wonderful ‘Christmas Wishes’ chosen by our service users, and we need your help to make those wishes come true!”
They are asking people to help by sending a gift to the Autism Wessex Gift Registry Address.
They ask this request knowing “how difficult times are, and we appreciate anything you are able to give.”
Autism Wessex SEO Siún Cranny shows their gratitude by saying: “I can only reiterate my immense gratitude and pride in the way our exceptional teams of people, across all services, continue to rise to this challenge unabated.”
The charity has set up many projects before this one to help those who have been affected by autism.
One previous project they have done has been opening a wheels workshop and Sensory Multi Use Games area, or SMUGA.
“The Wheels Workshop and the SMUGA are two more fantastic additions to Portfield’s offering, and we can’t express in words how much we value the support and generosity from those around us who make these things happen.” Said Jemma Dudgeon, the Acting Headteacher at the time, when talking to the Autism Wessex website.
Autism Wessex is a Charity who are asking for your help this Christmas by donating gifts.
