As one of the UK’s most loved alcoholic beverages, it may come as a surprise that by drinking a can of beer, you can actually be helping the planet keep climate change at bay.

This comes after the brewery and pub company, BrewDog announced they will be launching sustainable initiatives to reduce their carbon footprint.

Thanks to the new £30 million investment plan, BrewDog are changing the course of global warming.

But is this sustainability plan feasible for smaller, independent breweries?

Buzz News reporter, Tilly Lewis spoke to local brewer, Tom Cooper, from Barefaced Brewing in Bournemouth on whether or not he could make his own business carbon neutral.

As well as, speaking to local campaigner, Theresa Mcmanus to get her scope, you can hear this interview by listening to the audio below.
