Coming Out Onto the Field – Audio

Over the past years, the world of English football has only seen a minority of players and football staff come out. This could be down to many reasons; they might be out but not publicly. However, Coming Out onto the Field gives you an insight into what plays on players who are thinking of coming out.

Now, Ryan Atkins, professional referee hopes to change that as he becomes Stonewall and Athlete Ally Ambassador to challenge the society of football and raise awareness and the importance of visibility.
