Hanukkah began yesterday and Bournemouth University’s hosting its own celebrations today. The event’s taking place in Poole House at 4:15 p.m.
Kerry-Ann Randle, the university’s Head of Student Support and Wellbeing says: “We’re very excited to be having this event here”.
“The aim is to raise awareness of Hanukkah and the importance of the festival for our Jewish community”.
She also says the event features: “music, information about the celebration and fried goods and treats, for anyone that attends”.
