BH2 the plaza in the centre of Bournemouth was evacuated last night at 9:40 due to a smoke alarm in the underground park.
The whole plaza was affected with some cinema goers forced to leave mid-film.
An Odeon spokesperson said in a statement “Our Bournemouth cinema was evacuated last night after an incident outside set off smoke alarms.”
“All standard procedures were followed and all affected guests were offered either a full refund or complimentary tickets for another show of their choosing. We would like to sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused and look forward to welcoming guests back soon.”
Visitors claimed the car park was full of smoke which triggered the alarm.
