Chief Superintendent, Rachel Farrell, has been appointed as Assistant Chief Constable by Dorset Police. She will be joining the Force’s Executive team.
Rachel has joined from Hampshire Constabulary and carries over 26 years of experience.
She has previously acted as Head of Prevention and Vulnerability and Head of Major and Serious Crime as well as senior roles in Neighbourhood Policing and Partnerships.
Assistant Chief Constable Rachel Farrell said to Dorset Police: “I am delighted to be joining the Dorset Police family. Dorset is a place close to my heart and I have always spent a lot of time in the beautiful county as it is right on my doorstep.
Dorset Chief Constable Scott Chilton said that Rachel is committed to their aims of protecting the public, being tough on crime and are looking forward to having her on the team.
