Pro volleyball player Ci Michel on sexualisation, uniform and more…

Ci Michel opens up about female sexualisation and lack of gender equality in the elite sports system.

After competing at the Rio 2016 Olympic games, the world’s only professional women’s volleyball league, Athletes Unlimited, and now exploring her love for cinematography and vlogging, pro volleyball player Ci Michel has really been there and done that.

By reflecting on her journey as a professional sports woman, Ci discusses how female athletes are still being sexualised in the elite sports system and to answer the ultimate question: If there were more female leaders in power positions, would sexualisation be as prevalent in professional sport?
