Public appeal for missing woman from Poole

Police officers are searching for a missing woman from Poole and are appealing to the public for information to help find her.

Police officers are searching for a missing woman from Poole and are appealing to the public for information to help find her.

Claire Gourlay, aged 40, was last seen at around 12pm on Saturday 8th January 2022 in The Lord Wimborne pub in Lagland Street.

Claire is described as white, five feet eight inches tall and of medium build with blonde hair.

Chief Inspector Claire Phillips, of Dorset Police, said: “Claire has not been in contact with family or friends since she was last seen and we are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.

“Officers are carrying out a number of enquiries in the local area in a bid to locate her.

“I am appealing to anyone who has seen Claire, or a woman matching the description given, since Saturday 8 January 2022 to please get in touch.

“Finally, I would ask that if you see this appeal Claire, please make contact with us or your family as we just want to make sure that you are safe and well.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Claire’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting incident number 9:271.
