Wistmans Arts Café along Winton high-street has won the TripAdvisor’s award for two years running.
The popular café specialises in authentic dishes and commissioned artwork, with a range of burgers and toasties, to flavoured coffees and smoothies.
The artwork is predominately portraits of fictional characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the DC Extended Universe, with the additional landscape and watercolour painting, with their art on sale from as little as £12.
They received the TripAdvisor’s Travellers Choice Award for the second year in a row due to consistently earning great reviews from travellers and are ranked within the top 10% of properties on TripAdvisor.
Wistmans is also ranked #5 for coffee and tea in Bournemouth and were named Top 10 cafes in Dorset by the Daily Echo.
Ronald Uren, owner of Wistmans, expressed his joy after receiving the award once again: “It’s something good that’s happened to us after all the hard work. We are here every day from 6 o’clock in the morning until 6 o’clock in the evening, (if we finish early) when we go home, we carry on working. We are always working on something.”
Mr Uren went on to say how the positive reviews have impacted the amount of footfall that café receives, despite the cost-of-living crisis: “We do have the loyal customers, we do get a lot of customers that come from Tripadvisor, we have a pretty good reviews on Google as well.
We do gain customers, because they always say, ‘Oh you have really good reviews, that’s why we came’. During the summer we had lots of customers from London and Brighton, they came because of the reviews.”
Wistmans is open 9am-5pm Monday to Friday and 10am-3pm Sunday during the winter period.
