Nicholas Jackson looks set to be on his way to the Vitality Stadium.

BUzz news understands that a fee of €23 million has been agreed between the two clubs, and that personal terms will not be an issue.

The Villarreal forward will travel to Bournemouth tomorrow to complete a medical with the club, and should be available to face Brighton next weekend.

Jackson is a current Senegal international, making his debut at the World Cup in Qatar. He currently has two goals and two assists from 14 games this season in La Liga.

He is a versatile forward who can play across the frontline, but his 6ft2 frame suggests he will be mostly deployed through the middle.

There is question marks over if he will be the signing the cherries are looking for, with Jackson only scoring 11 senior goals in his career so far.

Nicolas Jackson would be the second signing under new owner Bill Foley, after winger Dango Ouattara, and most likely not the last in this window.
