Magna Road in Wimborne Minster is another victim of substantial flooding, forcing commuters to take an alternative route.
One local, Robert Curiel uses the road for the school run twice a day.
“It can take me out of my way three or four miles so it adds to the journey, it is inconvenient.”
Most vehicles are choosing to turn around after seeing the flood, however some larger vans and cars are seen to drive straight through.
Robert explains that this road is common to flooding and he is frustrated that measures are not being taken to fix the problem.
“This happens every year, even with minimal rainfall.
You look at it sometimes and think you can get through and you just take a chance.”
Another local, Chris Down, expressed that in his opinion the issue is down to a lack of maintenance.
“From this point down, there is no suitable drainage.
And what happens is the water runs down the fields, onto the road and then has no where to go.”
