Poole Town’s match versus Plymouth Parkway FC has been called off tonight due to frozen water on the pitch – as Dorset football continues to suffer from bad weather.

This is the Dolphins third consecutive game that has been cancelled due to weather.

The club announced yesterday that a pitch inspection would take place at 11am this morning after heavy rain and flooding was reported last night.

After a pitch inspection by the referee today the club announced the game wouldn’t be going ahead.

Poole Town can now turn their attention towards their next league game where the face off against the Metropolitan Police FC who sit two places below the Dolphins in 6th place.

Read our attached article to find out what other non-league matches are going ahead tonight – including another Dorset football team, Hamworthy Recreation.
