A yellow weather warning has been issued by the Met Office today after heavy rainfall and low temperatures have caused ice on the roads, so all precautions must be taken when travelling today.
Ice set to cause major disruptions across Dorset with road closures already in place today. There have been 10 road closures already today including Wimborne, Burton, and Wareham.
Abbotsbury has been cleared and traffic returned to normal after earlier ice on B3157 both ways between Red lane and Clay lane.
Flooding on roads has caused delays through the morning. The road both ways between Melbury Abbas turn off and Pimperne turn off which has been reported as a flood warning with reports of only larger vehicles being able to pass through the floods.
