On Saturday night, the BRIT awards hit our televisions and didn’t fail to impress. From wacky outfits to shock nominations there has been plenty to talk about.

Some BRIT award nominees are due to appear in Bournemouth over the coming months; here’s how you can see them.

Sam Ryder

TikTok sensation Sam Ryder who is also known for his British Eurovision entry ‘Space Man’ is headlining the O2 Academy Bournemouth on the 4 April 2023.

Ryder got Britain their highest result at Eurovision since 1998, coming in a close second to Ukraine, and this year has shot to fame, with Space Man peaking at number two in the UK Charts.

Nominated for best new artist at the Brit Awards, Sam finished as a runner up to Wet Leg.

Mimi Webb

Mimi Webb, 22 year old singer/songwriter, was also a best new artist nominee at this years Brit awards.

Also using social media platforms to rise up the charts her single ‘Good Without’ reached number eight in the UK charts.

Famous for her strong vocals and heart wrenching lyrics, Amelia ‘Mimi’ Webb, hits the stage of Bournemouth’s 02 Academy on 22 April 2023.

Here is her reaction on the night.

Bad Boy Chiller Crew

Bradford based trio Bad Boy Chiller Crew were nominated for best group at the Brit Awards, finishing runners up to double award winners Wet Leg.

Known for their bassline music and comical antics, their latest album ‘Disrespectful’ peaked at number two in the UK album charts only falling below Ed Sheeran. They perform at the O2 academy Bournemouth on 16 May 2023

Speaking to NME on Saturday they said “We’re half sober surprisingly, we’re on us best behaviour.”

But when asked if they would be behaving later on or attending an afterparty they responded “It depends because we’ve got a load of Frosty Jacks on’t table so it depends how many litres we’re doing.”
