Dorset Police stated “Tackling knife crime remains a key priority for Dorset Police and we are absolutely committed to taking robust action against offenders such as Horler, who think it is acceptable to arm themselves with a knife and commit acts of violence.

“In this case we were able to swiftly identify and locate the offender so he could be held accountable for his offending.

“We will continue to work with partners to combat the scourge of knife crime and raise awareness of the serious consequences that can result from carrying a knife.”
