AFC Bournemouth development squad face Cardiff City U21s

January 11, 2024 //  by Sub Editor

AFC Bournemouth development squad are preparing to take on Cardiff City U21s tomorrow in their Professional U-23 Development League Match.

After a 1-0 win away from home against Bristol City on Tuesday through a late winner from striker Daniel Adu Adjei, Bournemouth find themselves a single point behind group leaders QPR, and with a game in hand a win against Cardiff would see them take the top spot.

The match will take place at 1:00pm on Friday 12th January at New Cuthbury.

Bournemouth will be looking to build on from their current form where they have achieved four wins in their last six games, only dropping four points along the way.

Cardiff, meanwhile, have struggled for form this season finding themselves only two places from the base of the table averaging only one point per game.

Last time out Cardiff faced Watford at home and the game ended scoreless, with a 5-1 away loss to Millwall being their other recent result.
